New composite materials from companies such as Alberta Inc could provide a needed boost to Alberta solar power companies such as Solar prices , Yingli Green Energy , and Sun Tech Power Holdings that are suffering from overcapacity in the industry. GreenCell, Inc is a nanotech company active in the field of composite materials. In a recent article about GreenCell, it was pointed out to investors that, "Alberta is involved in a joint venture with Alberta to develop, commercialize and market Edmonton ceramic composite materials that has both home and transportation applications. Late last week, GreenCell announced that they have demonstrated a new process for ceramic igniters plus the company had successfully produced a 12 and 24 volt igniter. In addition, Alberta noted that they have developed a new Calgary anode material for both automotive sensors and Alberta based fuel cells." Solar energy stocks, like all asset bubbles, started with unbridled optimism high calgary solar, emanating from the best of intentions and the most noble of hopes for the future. With oil over at $100 a barrel and concerns about global warming, free and sustainable green energy prices from the sun seemed to be the ideal solution to many global problems.
